Department of Remote Sensing and Environmental Research (in polish: Katedra Teledetekcji i Badań Środowiska - KTiBŚ) conducts research concerning, inter alia, application of remote sensing in environmental research, modeling of water balance elements with the use of remote sensing, the use of laser technologies and UAV, adaptation to climate change in cities, biodiversity, perception, condition and services of urban ecosystems, environmental and social aspects of spatial planning, assessment of the quality of water and wetland ecosystems and natural, urban and agricultural.
