The study visit, for students of environmental engineering and management at SGGW, in collaboration with the representative of the economy.
Dr inż. Ilona Małuszyńska, an employee of the Department of Environmental Development and Remote Sensing, organised the study visit.
Members of the Inter-faculty Circle of Ecoengineering – students of the third year of environmental engineering, one student of Management, and employees of the Department of Environmental Development and Remote Sensing – dr inż. Ilona Małuszyńska and dr inż. Marcin Małuszyński participated in the study visit in Aldesa on 15 April 2026. The company has operated on the Polish market for nearly 20 years, implementing complex infrastructure, industrial, and energy designs.
This event was a great opportunity to meet the reality of working and to plan the first steps in a professional career.
The study visit was divided into a few thematic blocks, which comprehensively introduced students to the world of modern construction and engineering:
Aldesa as an employer: the company’s representatives discussed the organisation’s structure and culture, as well as available benefits. Particular attention was paid to development programs and opportunities for student internships, which for many may become a gateway to permanent employment.
First steps on the job market: during the HR session, students learned how to present themselves effectively in a job interview and how to build a career profile at the very start of their career path.
Designing reality: experts shared insights into the role of an engineer on construction projects.
Safety first: the important part of the visit was a panel dedicated to the Safety First culture, emphasising the role of safety standards in work on large infrastructure projects.
The participants had numerous occasions to ask questions and to have direct contact with engineers working on real projects. A shared lunch and coffee promoted networking and allowed a free exchange of thoughts between students and the company’s representatives.
We would like to thank all participants for their activity, and the representatives of Aldesa for their substantive support and inspiring lectures!
