We are delighted to announce that Dr Barbara Klik, a staff member in the Department of Environmental Development and Remote Sensing, has received an award from the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) for her outstanding scientific achievements and research and development work.

Her research focuses on the remediation of heavy-metal-contaminated soils and the development of modern, sustainable environmental remediation technologies, especially innovative solvent systems. This is a highly promising area in modern environmental engineering.

This award confirms the high quality of her scientific work and significant contribution to research in environmental engineering. It also recognises her achievements and encourages her to pursue further ambitious research challenges.
